This privacy policy describes how Viewit Studio, based in Italy, VAT IT04432640409, email studio@viewit.it, processes the personal data of users of viewit.it and its services (the “Services”), in accordance with the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended (Privacy Code) and the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines.

2. Personal data processed

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

• Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, timestamps (via cookies and server logs).
• Data you provide voluntarily: name, surname, email, phone, company and any other information sent through the contact form or demo request.
• Service usage data: interactions with 3D models and in-space navigation statistics, where enabled on request.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• To respond to enquiries and demo requests (pre-contractual measures, Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To manage the contractual relationship with clients and partners (contract, Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation, Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• To send marketing communications, only with your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), revocable at any time.
• To protect site security and prevent abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

4. Processing via Artificial Intelligence

Some features, in particular Viewito AI rendering, use AI models to process the 3D scenes and content provided by users. Processing happens solely to provide the requested service. Content you upload for AI rendering is not used to train third-party models and is not shared for marketing purposes, except with your explicit consent.

Where AI providers are used, they are bound by data-processing agreements (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR and act only on our instructions. Consent to AI processing of your content is managed via the Cookie Policy and can be withdrawn at any time.

5. Where and how data is processed

Data is processed with IT systems, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes, using adequate security measures. Data may be stored on servers in the EEA; any transfer outside the EEA only happens with adequate safeguards under the GDPR.

6. Data retention

• Contact data: kept for the duration of the enquiry and up to 24 months after the last interaction.
• Contractual data: kept for the period required by tax and accounting law (10 years).
• Browsing data: kept for no more than 12 months.
