Introduction
The base editor is the set of everyday tools for working on the scene: selecting objects, moving them, modifying them and undoing mistakes. It is what you use most, so it is worth knowing it deeply.
How it works
You select an object with a click; with multiple or rectangular selection you can take many at once, highlighted with an outline. From there you access duplicate, replace, delete, lock, rotate, scale and reflect. Every action goes into the history, which lets you undo and redo in order.
What it's for
The base editor gives you total control and safety: you can experiment without fear because every step is reversible. The vertex editor also lets you modify the points of walls and fences for precise shapes.
Usage instructions
Select and modify
- Click an object to select it: the highlight appears.
- Drag to move it, or use the rotate and scale commands.
- Press duplicate for a copy, or replace with another catalogue item.
- Lock an object so it doesn't move by accident.
- To correct, press undo: the history takes you back step by step.
Use case
You are setting up a stand: you place a counter, duplicate it for the second side, replace the chairs with a better model and lock the service items. Wrong wall position? Undo and redo. In minutes the stand is ready, without mistakes.
