Introduction
The furniture catalogue is the library of objects to place in the scene. Its strength is smart placement: the editor places the item on the correct surface automatically.
How it works
You drag a piece of furniture from the catalogue and drop it: Viewito recognises the surface (floor, wall or ceiling) and positions the object accordingly. A preview turns green if the position is valid, red if not. You can rotate in increments, align to a wall and use grid snap. For fairs there is the automatic stand layout.
What it's for
It lets you furnish a space in minutes without aligning anything by hand: objects 'settle' where they should be, and the preview prevents mistakes.
Usage instructions
Arrange furniture
- Open the catalogue and choose a category (chairs, tables, stands, etc.).
- Drag the item into the scene: watch the preview turn green.
- Release to place it; use the commands to rotate or align it.
- For exhibition areas, use the automatic stand layout.
- Fine-tune by hand any items that need precision.
Use case
You need to set up an area with 40 stands: use the automatic layout and the stands are distributed across the areas respecting the corridors. Then furnish the reception counter with a few tables and chairs from the catalogue. In minutes the area is complete and ready to present.
